Description: This European-style teahouse on arty Canyon Road has a Bohemian vibe in keeping with owner Dionne Christian’s eclectic background as an interior designer, accomplished cook, and world traveler. Dionne custom blends all 100 imported teas she serves, including 10 varieties of South African Rooibos; home-brewed Indian chais; pure green matcha from Japan that will blow your head off; flavored tea blends; and tisanes. With your cuppa, try an airy almond-flavored homemade scone with homemade clotted cream, a real show-stopper. If you’re hungry, order a bowl of homemade soup, rice or polenta and veggies, baguette sandwich with natural meats, salad, or a cheese plate for two. At breakfast, the inventive Eggs Confetti, a light egg dish scrambled using the steam from the espresso machine and strewn with pepper strips, is terrific.
