Description: If decor alone were the measure of a great meal, the Lone Eagle Grille would rank as one of the most outstanding restaurants in the Reno/Tahoe area. With enormous vaulted ceilings, two-story rock fireplaces, huge wrought-iron chandeliers, and mammoth windows opening out onto Lake Tahoe, its ambience is equal to none. Just being here and soaking up the environment is special. If you don’t feel like splurging on an expensive dinner, come here for lunch, or enjoy drinks and appetizers in the bar—the view is the same as in the dining room. You can also take your drink to the firepit on the beach just in front of the restaurant. The dinner menu features grilled beef, veal, lamb, fowl, fresh seafood, and pasta. The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner. Although it’s part of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino, you won’t find it in the main hotel building: Look for the elegant vaulted structure right on the lakeshore.
