Description: Authentic Italian cuisine, served “family style” with massive portions, is what you’ll find at this casual but elegant restaurant. Since it opened in 1977, Boccaccio has been serving lunch and dinner daily. A new owner took over the restaurant in July 2009, but the chef and main kitchen staff remain the same. On the dinner menu you’ll find a wide range of specialties, such as the shrimp cocktail and oysters oreganata appetizers, along with the veal osso buco and veal chop entrees. The menu is well-rounded and includes soups, salads, and pasta dishes, as well as chicken, veal, steak, chops, fish, and shellfish entrees. Almost all of the desserts, including the signature Italian cheesecake and tiramisu, are homemade.
