Description: This course began in 2000, and the final holes of this 18-hole course were completed in 2003. During the Battle of Gettysburg, Union troops occupied the land where the course sits. To reach Meadowbrook, travel Baltimore Pike south and at 0.5 mile past the intersection with U.S. Route 15, turn right onto White Church Road. Travel another 0.5 mile and turn right onto Goulden Road to the course. The clubhouse here has a pro shop and snack bar, and a putting green is available. Meadowbrook was designed by Roger Weaver, who also designed the Cedar Ridge Golf Course (see previous listing). At 6,029 yards, it’s a par 72 course, and the No. 7 hole is the most visually appealing. It has a view of the small valley that faces Big Round Top Mountain. The No. 6 hole is one of the most demanding of the course, requiring accuracy to place the ball in the sloping fairway from the tees. Tee-time reservations are preferred but not required, and the course costs $48 to play a round with a cart.
