Description: The Myrtle Beach State Park is just 3 miles south of downtown Myrtle Beach and is one of the most popular public beaches in the area. Opened in 1935, it was the first state park opened to the public in South Carolina; it’s also the site of the first campground and fishing pier on the Grand Strand.The park offers 350 campsites, five cabins, two apartments, picnic areas with shelters, a swimming pool, nature trails, playground equipment, a park store, and snack bar. Each site has water and electrical hookups and is convenient to hot showers and restrooms. The summer daily rate is $23 per site, $25 for reserved spots, and there is an additional $4-per-person (age 16 and older) admission charge to enter the park.

Description: Only 10 miles north of downtown Myrtle Beach, the Travel Park offers more than 1,100 campsites in a variety of locations: oceanfront, wooded, or lakeside, all complete with utility hookups.
