Description: Ride for one to three hours, sheltered in seclusion in the Black Hills National Forest. Even the shortest ride treats you to a view of Harney Peak, and the longest takes you to an abandoned gold mine. If you feel like riding longer, call and ask about a custom trip. Riders must be at least six years old to go on the trail, but little people can take a pony ride around the ranch as long as their parents accompany them on foot. You can ride from mid-May to mid-Sept here. Rates depend on the length of your ride and the season; call for more information. To get here, look for the little covered wagon 4 miles west of town. The guest ranch has 17 cabins for rent.
