Description: Two beautiful cabins and some wonderful breakfasts define the secluded Willow Springs accommodations. Tucked away in a quiet valley, surrounded by national forest, the cabins are decorated with family heirlooms and are cozy, comfortable, and private. The Willows Cabin sleeps four and is open all year. The Frontier Cabin sits on a little hill, sleeps two, and is open from May through Sept. Each has a private bath, hot tub, television and DVD, air-conditioning, stereo, microwave, coffeemaker, and small refrigerator. It’s an easy drive to Rapid City, Sheridan Lake, and Pactola Reservoir, but you might want to stay right here and bask in the peace and quiet of 140 acres, where the wind still combs the branches of age-old ponderosa pine. Walk down to Spring Creek, fish (license required) and swim on the property, ice-skate in the winter, and get to know the friendly resident cats and dog. Breakfast is served in the dining room of the house or brought to your cabin. The owner calls it “a wholesome and hearty gourmet breakfast.” The cabins are stocked with coffee, tea, and popcorn. A two-night stay is required.
