Telephone: (605) 394-6631
Address: 333 6th St.

Description: These small buses operate Mon through Fri, 6:25 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fares are $1.50 for adults and 75 cents for seniors 60 and older and disabled individuals. Those with transfers from another route and children younger than age five (with adults) ride for free. The RapidRide office is in the Milo Barber Transportation Center. Its five designated routes cover schools, the hospital, the mall, the library, and popular shopping areas rather than visitor attractions, so it’s more a service for residents than for tourists. If you want to try it, however, get a schedule at the transportation center so you’ll know where the buses stop. A new City View Trolley hits the Journey Museum, Stavkirk Chapel, Storybook Island, Dinosaur Park, and other local attractions and provides a narrated tour. Adults are $2, children under 12 and seniors over 60 are only $1. Call (605) 394-6631 for schedules and more information.
