Description: Shooters has more of a restaurant atmosphere, but the regulars here really love football, and a sizable crowd consistently gathers to watch professional and college games on the TVs throughout the establishment. There are a few video lottery machines in a side room. Hours are earlier than standard bar time; it’s open Mon through Thurs 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Fri and Sat 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sun 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The setting leans toward upscale, the attitude is mellow, and the crowd is laid-back. Since it’s a restaurant, everyone (from kids to seniors) is welcome, but the bar section is separate from where families sit to eat.Shooters has a full bar and a menu that includes choice Black Angus steaks. The most famous item on the menu, however, is the outstanding hot wings. Shooters consistently wins local awards for them. Visitors are encouraged to challenge the cook to make the wings as hot as possible, but such challenges are often followed by several pitchers of ice water.
