Description: The Ace is an ultrahip, modern small hotel in Seattle’s vibrant, eclectic Belltown neighborhood, putting its in-the-know clientele square in the middle of the city’s most happening scene. Yet these trendy digs are amazingly affordable, partly because of the hotel’s youthful vibe and combination of private and shared baths. Just 28 rooms offer a refreshingly clean design aesthetic, with a bohemian edge evidenced in the vintage furnishings. There is plenty of fun and funky artwork throughout the hotel and in guest rooms. Standard rooms are crisp and white, with low platform beds and an in-room vanity but a shared bathroom down the hall. Deluxe rooms have their own private bathrooms, king- or queen-size beds, and air conditioning. Some have partial water views. All rooms offer large windows with an abundance of natural light, high loftlike ceilings, hardwood floors, cable television, and a minibar. The historic building has incorporated many sustainable, eco-friendly elements in keeping with the times. Cyclops Café and the Panther Room bar are located directly downstairs, serving food and drinks until late hours. The Ace is also dog-friendly.
