Description: This supper club overlooks beautiful Mirror Lake and its Arrowhead Bar makes a fine perch for a predinner cocktail. The Coleman family built a log cabin here in 1909. When the Hoffman brothers built a restaurant in 1955, they incorporated much of the original structure. The dining room floor shows 76 tons of flagstones quarried locally, a few live pine trees grow up through the floor, and the views from the dining room are wonderful. The menu centers around naturally aged steaks with some surf and turf options. All meals come with salad and potato. The road to the restaurant was used for a scene in the movie Public Enemies. Heading west toward Mirror Lake State Park from US 12 (south of the Dells and the Interstate), watch for Ishnala Road and a totem pole on the right (north). The restaurant is open daily for dinner Memorial Day to mid-Sept. Entree prices hover around $35.
