Description: Located just off WI 138, between Oregon and Stoughton, the speedway calls itself the “Track of Champions” with racing giants such as Dick Trickle, Johnny Ziegler, and Matt Kenseth on the list of those to be named winners here. Built in 1969, the half-mile asphalt track is sanctioned by the American Speed Association and hosts weekly divisions of Super Late Models, ASA Late Models, Limited Late Models, and Area Sportsman. Grandstands seat over 10,000. Every Fri night from May through Sept gates open at 4:30 p.m., qualifying runs are at 6:30 p.m., and the racing begins at 7:30 p.m. No carry-in food is allowed but plenty of grilled food and carnival classics (funnel cakes!) are available along with soda and beer. Parking is free. Tickets are around $8–10. Children 11 and under get in free.
