Handwashing Facilities With Soap and Towels Observed an empty soap container and no paper towels at the hand washing sink in the infant room. An adequate amount of soap and paper towels must be available at the hand sink at all times to prevent contamination. Corrected on site.
Manual/Mechanical Warewashing and Sanitizing Conducted a chlorine sanitizer test in classroom. A low sanitizer level of 10 ppm was observed. Proper amounts of chlorine sanitizer (ex. 100 - 200 ppm) must be maintained to ensure proper sanitizing is occurring and prevent illness.
Thermometers Provided/Accurate/Properly Calibrated (2C) Observed a missing thermometer in the kitchen cooler storing milk and cheese. All cooler holding potentially hazardous foods must be equipped with a thermometer to prevent food borne illness.
