Handwashing Facilities With Soap and Towels Observed missing paper towels at the hand washing sink in the men's restroom. All hand washing stations must have an adequate supply of paper towels at all times to prevent contamination. The paper towels were refilled. Corrected on site.
Toxic Items Properly Labeled/Stored/Used Observed an unlabeled bottle of window cleaner being stored below the front counter. Ensure all toxic items are clearly labeled to prevent contamination. The bottle was not labeled on site because of the staff responsibility to their customers. Also observed a QT sanitizer level of 500 ppm being utilized in the sanitizer bucket. Ensure the sanitizer does not exceed the recommended 400 ppm to prevent illness. The sanitizer and water was discarded and correctly formulated on site. Corrected on site.
Thermometers Provided/Accurate/Properly Calibrated (2C) Observed a missing thermometer in the preparation cooler beneath the cold hold display line. The cooler is currently storing cut tomatoes. Any cooler holding a potentially hazardous food such as cut tomatoes must be equipped with a working thermometer. No substitute thermometer was on site. As a result the issue was not corrected during the inspection.
