The D Q on 3248 N Rock Road in Wichita KS is THE WORST DAIRY QUEEN ON EARTH!!!
The manager seems to be mentally and socially and Business challenged . I love D Q: Not this one. I work in the North part of town and over the years have patronized this place maybe 10-15 times, every single time, without fail there is a problem: a mix up in the order, an over charge or "They just forgot" to bring something to the table.
This time I went to the Drive Thru: I ordered at 12:19 , they asked me to pull up and they would bring my order out: I did as they asked, ok, 2 others after me had to do the same thing They go their orders and by 12:25, I said to my self "ok there is yet another problem" I went inside and the young man at the counter was polite and asked if he could help, I told him my issue: he asked did you call it in? I said again No I went through the drive through: I showed him my receipt and point out the time; He went to the back area, I heard a man say " Then They got it" I said NO I did not: and if you don't have my food ready, I want my money Back" the young man backed me up, The poor excuse of a manager ( I am sure he is the owner as well) did not want to give my money back, so I became more vocal and said again " If You Do not have My food, I Want My Money Back!" So the manager came to the register and put a key in it and started a process, grumbling the whole time, then he said " Do you still have your card?" referring to my debit card: and said "I will put back on the card but I won't give you money back" I said yes, I do, and I handed it to him: I also said " It will take 3 -5 days for this to go back on my card. And this is The LAST time I will ever come here, every time I come there is Always a problem of some sort!"... he grumbled something unintelligible and I said " I know that you do not care, But I will never come back here" He has NO IDEA what GOOD Customer Service is. He should Loose his franchise. He never Offered ONE WORD of apology, nor did the young man. The ONLY reason this D Q is successful at all is because of the location to many businesses and the Lunch crowd. The manger is an ungrateful, rude fool. I love the D Q in Derby, Andover, Augusta and the little on in Lincoln and George Washington Blvd that has been there for years. But the One on N. Rock Road is a disgrace; a Total Disgrace and I plan to tell every one I know at work ( a LARGE communications company) and beyond not to patronize it. I told the lady the restaurant I went to to get lunch and she said she had heard Lots of negative stories about them. Everyone so far and said the same thing back to me:"Yes that one is a terrible" That one give D Q a Big Black Eye!!! It there were a choice on this review for worse than "poor" I would choose it!!!! You need a New Franchise Owner OR MANGER there.
