11/08/2012 | Inspection | 5a & 5e & 8e. At 1120, using inpsectors calibrated food testing thermometer, temped ~30lbs of deli meat and cheeses in bottom of Electrolux cooler. Temps ranged from 53dF to 59dF. Upon speaking with operators it was determined that container of meats and cheeses were place there the previous night. Operators voluntarily discarded and CORRECTED. Electrolux cooler temped at 50dF with inpectors calibrated food testing thermometer while digital thermometer read 40dF. Spoke to operators regarding differences and suggested they use alternate thermometer until it can be fixed. |
