- The Old School on the Hill Bed & Breakfast is an iconic structure on the highest hill in Chamois on Main Street. Built in 1876 she is 140 years old and is a wonderful place to stay and rest in this quiet agricultural town. Each room is 750 square foot with private baths and beautiful views of Chamois. Each room has it's own unique style and most boast of chalkboards to leave messages for the Innkeepers. Three rooms have King beds and the fourth room has two full size beds. We host couples, groups and families. Each morning a full home cooked breakfast is served. We are 25 minutes west of Hermann, MO and have a shuttle service that can provide service from Amtrak or the Katy Trail. If you love adventure, history, or just want a quiet escape - The Old School is where you need to stay.
