Since 1972 Hometown Pizzeria has been a local icon in Montgomery County and beyond. Located in the downtown area across the second set of tracks on the north side of Rt.16. Famously known for their Original Thin Crust pies and the now famous Original Sub. The Chandler family still owns and operates this local legend. They open at 10:3am and close at 10pm, closed on Mondays. They also serve a wide variety of subs, pastas, salads, appetizers, calzones & desserts. Four times have made the Hot 100 Independents in the nation according to Pizza Today magazine. This is a true gem in the Heartland of Illinois. Customers have been raving about this pizzeria since they have grown up with it. They now bring their kids or grandkids now.
