- the Paper Shaper was designed to combine functionality with eco-friendliness, while at the same time creating an attractive piece for your home or office. the Paper Shaper offers vases, serving trays, dishes, bowls and many more items, all completely handmade of newspaper. Our products are able to withstand moisture, allowing for easy cleaning and high durability. Our pieces won't break like glass or pottery, they are incredibly lightweight, and are 100% unique and original. the Paper Shaper has nearly 200 different designs and 75 different papers, allowing for a wide variety of items. We have over 150 pieces currently created, but can easily accommodate orders. Our items are all eco-friendly, organic, recycled and completely handmade. They are great for gifts, as each piece is one-of-a-kind, and the weight makes for easy shipping. It's not obvious our items are made from paper - they have the appearance of pottery. However, our pieces offer the benefit of extreme durability and originality - no two pieces are the same! We have creations ranging from natural and understated, to bright and bold, to 4th of July and Christmas. Each creation is newspaper layered until sufficient thickness is reached. A finishing paper is added (a handmade, decorative paper) and finally, the item is sealed. Our products are safe for food (dry only) and can handle wetness.
