Passers-by who peer through the Fine’s Family Bakery windows will marvel at the hundreds of cakes, cookies, bread, and all of their favorite bakery delights making their way from our mixers, to our ovens, and finally to our shelves for your enjoyment After loosing her longtime position as an escrow officer and preparing to be married 1990, Jill Fienberg marked the beginning of realizing her dream of being a baker. To make ends meet, Jill, a California native, began selling her baked goods out of a basket on a route down Ventura Blvd. Jill visited numerous businesses, hair salons and offices on a daily schedule providing delicious baked goods to customers and office workers. Even though times were hard, she insisted on using only the finest ingredients. Jill's sweets became an instant success! By 1994, demand for her cakes and cookies had grown from a daily route, to creating gift baskets for many events such as the Golden Globes, American Music Awards, and Soap Opera Awards. Jill also provided her baked goods to many catering establishments and even had her cakes featured in The New Leave It to Beaver Movie. The Fine family prides itself on creating delicious, high quality baked goods that generations of families will come to cherish.
