- Hi, my name is Lisa Blanton and I operate a business called Party Cakes. I started making cakes 17 years ago, and I must admit my skills have grown so much over the years that I went from a cake decorator to a cake artist. I never knew that a person could take a piece of cake and turn it into a work of art. Literally my cake is my canvas. My passion for cake is off the charts and I am always striving to learn new techniques to keep up with ever changing trends. Party Cakes studio is located in Dawsonville and is by appointment only. Party Cakes desserts are made from scratch including the icings. I never bake cakes in advance and freeze them. I offer free consultation/tastings to all perspective brides and work diligently to come up with the perfect cake that will meet any budget.
