- American Legion Post 79 is a veterans organization that also works closely within our community. We provide services and fund raising for both veterans and civilian causes. We are active in the local community and have hours when all the public is welcome to come participate in Post 79 events and meals. Honoring those that served and building a strong America are part of the goals of our post. Our volunteers put in many hours preparing food, events, raising funds and contributing to our American traditions.
