  • Description:
  • Historic Dripping Springs Resort sits beside a bend in the Big Thompson river,on 5 acres surrounded by pine forest and aspen groves. We are 1 1/2 miles from Estes Park. Open all year, we offer family cabins with private hot tubs, smaller cabins for couples, with hot tubs, and whimsical Bed and Breakfast rooms for couples, also with private hot tubs. The Inn was built around 1929, and has been in continuous operation, but the changes that we have made in the last 16 years are quite nice. Some structures have been rebuilt, others have been built new, and others have been remodeled, keeping the charm of days gone by. We do not offer luxury as in a 5 star hotel, but for families and couples who want a wonderful mountain getaway, this may be your place.Little luxuries, we do offer like great beds and linens. Each cabin and room has an outdoor hot tub, most with a river view. The cabins have full kitchens, where you can prepare your meals, and gas grills outside on the decks. Living outdoors is fantastic up here in the high Estes Park Valley. Few if any bugs and mosquitos will trouble you, and when burning is allowed, we have many firepits for your enjoyment. There is a wood burning sauna, and a massage house where our masessuse will work wonders on your body and mind. Fishing is a pleasure, catch and release of course. Near Rocky Mountain National Park,it is only a 10 minute drive. A short 5 minute drive will get you downtown Estes Park, for the touristy stuff we all love to do. At the B&B for couples, we treat you to a delicious home cooked breakfast each morning, and the best coffee you can get is ready early, so you can sit and watch the hummingbirds fly and the trout rise in the river. Birdwatching, Elk and Bear, Deer and Coyotes roam these mountains, plus many more species. Birdwatching is great here. Every season brings lovely surprises to the valley. Come and see what you are missing. Our staff knows how to treat you right and they are super friendly. They can help you plan your stay, and show you where to eat, where to look for elk and where to hike or snowshoe. We are open for reservations from 8am till 8 pm in the summer, shorter winter hours, but you can reach us by email any time. We have online booking on our website for your convenience. Please take the time to check us out, you may realize like most of our many customers that you have found a little jewel. We are a non smoking facility, and some of the family cabins are suitable for small family pets, ask first, there is a screening process, and an extra charge. No pets are allowed in the B&B rooms. Reservations are highly suggested. Want a streamside wedding? During the summer months many couples celebrate their love by having an outdoor ceremony at one of our wedding sites. Ask for a brochure, and ask Amy and Bart, our managers about their wedding here. Renewing your vows, or having an anniversary,a honeymoon or a babymoon? Special occasions are our favorite, and you will love our little treats and extra loving touches, just for you. www.drippingsprings.com
