Robin Elkins is a prolific inventor, scientist, engineer, and award winning photographer. He is a provider of a wide range of services as a design engineering consultant, lecturer, and new age artist. Probably most well known for his invention of the first patented digital audio recording system (U.S. Patent #4,124,773), this invention covers voicemail and internet access to digital audio - it is an invention made when Elkins was only 18 years old. His other issued U.S. Patents combine novel derivations of energy, communications, or security technologies. There is an extensive List of Licensees to one or more of his Patents including Microsoft, ATT, Sony, IBM, Siemens, DEC, WANG, and AOL, which were the subject of articles in "Fortune Magazine" and "the Wall Street Journal" .
