Jon Paulo Salon is very proud of the history behind the name "Jon Paulo". It was americanized by the Giampalo family back when it opened 17 years ago. It was a mother / daughter salon and they quickly grew their family of stylists. The history of JP is one of success and tragedy. Back in August 2001 the daughter/stylist of the owner was tragically killed in a horrible car accident that shook the community of Foothill Ranch. She was an amazing stylist and even more so an amazing young woman. She was loud, fun, vivacious and talented. She had planned on taking over the family business and carrying on the family name. That is why today the owner is devoted to her role in carrying on the name and kind of salon Lisa would have wanted herself. The community of Foothill Ranch memoralized Lisa by having a plaque with her picture installed at the corner of Lake Forest and Portola, showing how she touched the lives of so many. She may be gone but will never be forgotten. I am grateful for the opportunity to give each and everyone that visits Jon Paulo their special time and to create a beautiful you.
