As the weather warms up, why not skip the supermarket and stop in at a local farm for all your grocery needs? In addition to supporting sustainable agriculture, it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the folks who grow your food, enjoy the rural landscape, and witness firsthand where your food comes from and how it is grown.
Know your farmer. Know your food.
Support local, organic farming at Garden Treasures today!
Garden Treasures is a six-acre nursery, garden center and certified organic, historical farm in the floodplain of the Stillaguamish River Valley in Arlington, WA. Since its beginning in September 2005, Garden Treasures has been committed to the revitalization of local agriculture and the re-birth of family farming in a world of industrial food systems and long distance food distribution.
At Garden Treasures, we tailor our business with respect for our land and our community. We have grown our farm and nursery with sustainability in mind, and we strive to have a minimal environmental impact. Roof-top recycled water is used for all our nursery irrigation needs, and our organic crops are grown and processed using fresh well water. Our fields are farmed within their limits, and native coyotes, eagles, red tailed hawks, bobcats, deer, birds, rabbits, voles, and visitors and friends all call our farm home from time to time.
Garden Treasures is open to the public everyday from 9AM- 6PM and features a gift shop, outdoor garden center and nursery, and a farm market stand. Our dedicated, professionally trained staff of 6 people all work very hard and believe in community-supported and earth-friendly agriculture. Please feel free to stop in and talk with us about local/seasonal produce, plants, landscape and garden design, and any other thoughts or questions you may have.
Having a small farm and nursery with an environmentally friendly focus is challenging in many ways, and without the help from our community members, none of this would be possible. Thank you all for supporting us in our dream of growing healthy food crops and building community in the Stillaguamish River Valley.
