Richard Gunst crafted his idea for Pioneer Log Siding while working at NBC studios, Magic Mountain and Universal in California. As a graphic designer and art director building stage sets and western towns his siding idea was always lingering. The time finally came when Richard and his wife moved to Breckenridge Colorado where they built their first cabin. “We improved the siding completely and used it on our cabin”. The attention they received on the cabin was astounding and Pioneer Log Siding was born! Richard and his wife are now residing happily in Coupeville Washington probing for their land site for Pioneer Log Siding village.
