  • A couple handsinks in kitchen found without soap or paper towels. Another couple handsinks observed with soap dispensers that were not dispensing and paper towel dispensers with dead batteries. Ensure soap and paper towels are available at each handsink.
  • Debris buildup found in soda nozzles. Ensure nozzles are routinely washed, rinsed, and sanitized to remove buildup of mold and syrup debris.
  • Microwave and a couple nearby shelves found heavily soiled with food debris. Ensure shelves and microwave are cleaned free of debris before continued use.
  • Employee backpack found hanging right by clean plates. Also observed cassette player iPod adaptor hanging over other clean platters. Ensure all employee personal items are stored in a designated area below and away from food or food contact surfaces.
  • Cup observed resting in handsink in front beverage station near front door. Ensure handsinks are used for handwashing only and not for washing of or storage of dishes. Violation corrected on site.

  • SINGLE SERVICE TAKE HOME CONTAINERS FOUND IN PACKAGING STORED ON GROUND WITH NO OTHER PROTECTION. ENSURE ALL FOOD AND FOOD CONTACT SURFACES ARE STORED AT LEAST 6 INCHES OFF THE FLOOR.
  • MICROWAVE OVER STEAM TABLE COATED IN FOOD DEBRIS ON THE INSIDE. ENSURE FOOD DEBRIS IS CLEANED FROM MICROWAVE ROUTINELY.
  • MOLD AND GUNK FOUND AT BEVERAGE STATION IN BACK IN NOZZLES. ENSURE ALL NOZZLES ARE WASHED, RINSED, AND SANITIZED ON A ROUTINE BASIS. ENSURE MOLD AND GUNK BUILDUP IS ALSO REMOVED FROM AREAS AROUND THE NOZZLES AS WELL.
  • Shredded chicken and beef found in cold hold unit ranging between 52-55 degrees F. Manager stated that products were moved into unit at 10:30 a.m. Staff member said food was prepared at 6 AM. No temperature logs or date labels found on products. Products found at 2:40 PM and discarded.
  • BLACK MOLD FOUND IN ICE MACHINES. ONE OF THE ICE MACHINES FOUND WITH A TUBE ( COVERED IN BLACK MOLD) FEEDING DIRECTLY INTO THE ICE. ENSURE MOLD IS SCRUBBED CLEAN FROM UNITS.
  • A COUPLE OF HANDSINKS IN KITCHEN (ONE BY THE TORTILLA MAKING STATION AND ONE IN THE BACK) FOUND WITH EVIDENCE OF WASHING DISHES IN HANDSINK. ENSURE HANDSINKS ARE USED FOR HANDWASHING ONLY.
