  • Ensure that all personal food items, such as beverages and personal foods, are stored in an area away from food and are stored in a cup with a lid and a straw to prevent cross contamination. (Bottled and open canned beverages should not be used). OBSERVED A BOTTLED WATER AT PREP TABLE
  • Use effective means of pest control for gnats in restroom. Save service receipts for verification.

  • Raw eggs inside pink refrigerator were ~55 degrees. Temperature may have been from frequent usage of refrigerator. Eggs were moved to a different refrigerator. All potentially hazardous foods must maintain a temperature of 41 degrees F or below.
  • Pink refrigerator was not maintaining proper temperature. Ensure that any cold hold units that have potentially hazardous foods (milk & eggs) can maintain a temperature of 41 degrees F or below.
  • All equipment needs to be cleaned and sanitzied. Equipment must also be smooth, easy cleanable and non-absorbant. Any items with paint chipping needs to be repainted. Inside of refrigerators need to be cleaned.

If your looking for good tasting mexican sweet bread, this is NOT THE PLACE. Too much KAOS going on from selling sweet brwad that is HARD, raspas, A DAYCARE on site to trying to offer ALL kinds of other services on the side! This place needs to be reported to the better business bureau

It's delicious and beautiful. These are the first owners in 30 yrs that have done any improvement to the place . THANK YOU .and my hats off to the new owners .And please give us 30 more years of awesome treats

I was a usual customer when the original owners had this bakery and always enjoyed the sweet bread until my last visit. Its supposed to be a traditional mexican bakery and it seems more americanized with lots of frosting on every sweet bread. Chicos has new owners now and im not pleased with the hard, steal, old, sweet bread they now sale.

The service given by a chatty, flirtatious, obnoxious lady at the counter was the worst! Besides the horrible wait time the bread was steal. Suggest the chatty obnoxious lady be more approachable to ALL customers
