Corn in crock pot only reached to 122 degrees F. Ensure that all foods held at hot hold temperatures are maintained at 135 degrees F and above.
Observed open personal beverage on top of cutting board of cold hold unit, personal cookies and crackers on shelves next to food items and in refrigerators next to food items used for customers. Ensure that all personal drinks and foods are stored in an area designated away from food and food contact surfaces.
Hand sink in restroom does not have hot water. Employees explained that owner stated that water heater for restroom is located in a different location. Inspector explained that hot water reaching up to 100 degrees F must be available in restroom, to avoid suspension of license. Ensure issue is corrected within 48 hours, at which time a follow up will occur.
Cold hold unit is unable to maintain food stored inside at 41 degrees F. Thermometer read 50 degrees F. Employees stated the refrigerator has had an issue. Inspector explained that any cut fruit should be stored in refrigerated area that is able to keep fruit at 41 degrees F, when cut, as it becomes potentially hazardous.
-Cloth towels used for wiping down surfaces, should be stored in sanitizing solution when not in use. -Ice cream scoops should not be stored in standing water. Ensure that scoops are maintained and stored on clean and dry surfaces.
