  • Hand wash sink near the soda dispensar is not adequate. Water pressure when the hot water nozzle is turned is low and water is not getting hot. All hand wash sinks must be adequate so that employees can properly wash their hands.

  • 229.163 (h)- before handling. Observed an employee holding his phone then he proceeded to put his phone up and continue to make the pizza in front of him with out washing his hands. Wash the hands whenever one changes from one task to another such as immediately before engaging in food preparation, working with exposed foods, clean equipment and utensils and unwrapped single service and single use articles.
  • 229.164 (e) (1) (D) (ii)Bare hand documentation. Observed documentation of hand washing prcedure but did not observed the part of documentation required that shows corrective action if proper hand washing procedures are not followed. Provide documentation of actions taken when employees do not follow appropriate hand washing policy.
  • 229.166 (f) (4) air gap 2x. Observed pipes from the ice machien and the hand sink laying inside of the drain in the back area of the establishment. Ensure that the air gap between water supply and plumbing fixture is at least 1 inch. Diameter of air gap between water supply and plumbing fixture must be at least twice the diameter of the water supply inlet.
