  • Label all food items for sale manufactured on site-refer to State of Texas requirements for labels.
  • All food items for customer grab and go service must be labeled with manufacturer’s information OR move packaged food items for food handlers to fill orders.
  • Observed several expired canned goods. Ensure that expired food items are removed from consumption supply.
  • Observed evidence of rodent activity. Food items were chewed through and observed rodent feces throughout establishment. All holes/gaps need to be sealed with approved material. Foam is not an option for approved material for rodents. All areas where rodent activity is observed (feces, chew marks and materials scattered from chewing through items) needs to be cleaned and sanitized. Use effective means of rodent control. Save service receipts for verification.
  • Repair leak at 3 compartment sink.
  • Clean out mold in ice machine.
  • Post most recent inspection report in public view at all times.

  • Walk in cooler had an internal temperature of 55F degrees. All cold hold units with potentially hazardous foods must maintain a temperature of 41F degrees or below. Employee stated maintanace has already been called.
  • Soda and slushy nozzles need to be cleaned and sanitized.

  • Establishment must obtain a manufacturer's license to continue bagging ice. Bags of ice must also have a label with the manufacturer's information, including name and contact information (address and/or phone number).   • Hand sink near 3 compartment did not have hot water at time of inspection. Ensure that all hand sinks reach a minimum of 100F degrees.
  • Observed rat droppings in back storage room with drinks and ice machine as well as on the ground near beverage station. Establishment needs to remove all harborage to eliminate any living spaces and all holes need to be sealed up on the walls.
  • Refrigerator did not have a thermometer. All cold holding units that contain potentially hazardous foods must have a thermometer inside to ensure a temperature of 41F degrees or below is being maintained.
  • Establishment did not have current food permit. Establishment must purchase new food permit within the next 10 days to avoid a citation or a replace license must be purchased. New permit and this inspection report must be posted in public view. Permit can be purchased at 1901 S. Alamo.

  • 229.164 (r) (1) (B) (iv) manufacturer info. Observed burritos and kooldae jammers for self service with out proper labels on the product or near product. Advise owner that there should be proper labels on the individual product being sold or posted near product in custoer view.
  • 229.166 (i) (1) (A)HWS not accessible. Hand wash sink near three compartment sink was blocked with mop equipment. Handwashing facility must be fully accessible at all times for employee use. There can be no barriers and this sink can be used for handwashing only.
  • 229.167 (e) (3) (A) no towels. Bathroom did not have paper towels. Bathroom should provide paper towels at all times.
  • 229.165 (h) (2)thermometer available. Did not observe a thermometer in the cooler obtaining potentially hazardous foods. A thermometer shall be provided to ensure proper temperature is being maintained by the cooler.
  • Ice machine is dirty and dry dirty rag was seen on the 3 compartment sink. All food conatct surfaces should be cleaned and sanitized.

  • 229.164 (o) (6) (A) PHF>135. All hot food items must be kept at 135 degrees or hotter, Tacos inside heating unit are at 125 degrees, they are to cool.
  • 229.164 (r) (1) (B) (iv) manufacturer info. All items being sold in establishment must have a proper manufacturer label on them. Ice being bagged by establishment does not have any labels on them. Crackers also being sold, they too have no labels on them. Plus, tacos being sold from local restraunt, and they too have no labels on them.
  • 229.166 (g) (4) (B)backflow preventer. Install a backflow preventer on hose attached to mop sink.
  • 229.166 (g) (1) (A) HWS not provided. Must install handsink in back room, where ice is being bagged, also do not block handsink, next to 3 compartment sink.
  • 229.167 (e) (2) no soap. All handsinks must have soap and papertowels, one handsink next to 3 sink, does not have soap and papertowels.
  • Place Heimlich poster up.
