Correction:
- Critical: Warewashing - Manual & Mechanical Warewashing Equipment, Chemical Sanitization - Temperature, pH, Concentration & Hardness (corrected on site)
Observation: Chlorine sanitizing solution used was over 200 ppm in the working spray bottles.
Correction: Adjust the chlorine sanitizing solution to a level of at least 25 parts per million when the pH is at 10 or less and the water temperature is at 120°F.
- Non-Food Contact Surfaces
Observation: The nonfood contact surface of the microwave had accumulations was observed in need of cleaning.
Correction: Clean the surface at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues that become encrusted or attract insects and rodents.
- Equipment and Utensils, Air-Drying Required (corrected on site)
Observation: Cups were found stacked wet after cleaning and chemical sanitization.
Correction: Items must be allowed to drain and air-dry before being stacked or stored to allow evaporation of chemical sanitizer and moisture that may encourage microbial growth.

Observation: Clean dishes were observed stored with the food-contact surface facing upward.
Correction: Store equipment and utensils covered or inverted to prevent contamination while in storage.
- Critical: Handwashing Lavatory
Observation: Several hand sink stations in facility were in disrepair or removed.
Correction: Install additional lavatories to increase the employee's opportunity to wash hands routinely.
- Lighting, Intensity
Observation: Lighting was insufficient in food prep area.
Correction: Provide at least 50 foot candles at a surface where a food employee is working with food or working with utensils or equipment such as knives, slicers, grinders, or saws where employee safety is a factor

Food handler's cards expired and need to be renewed. Handwash sink needs to be installed. Portable sinks installed in the infant and toddler classrooms. Thermometer needed in refrigerators. Foods will be pre-packed and sent by parents. Advised owner to discard any bulk food items and to purchase individually packaged food items to be used in the event a parent has not provided food. Provided 2013 FDA Food Code changes, temperature charts, food handler class schedule and new employee health policy. Facility is well maintained and clean. Follow-up on or about November 4.

Observation: A food service employee was working in the food service establishment without having a valid food service card.
Correction: A food service employee shall have a valid food service card prior to working in the food service establishment. The person in charge shall not employ anyone to work in the food service establishment until they posses a valid food service card. A food service employee shall have a valid food service card while working in a food establishment.
- Temperature Measuring Devices
Observation: There was no temperature measuring device located in the refrigerator in the kitchen and in the infant room refrigerator.
Correction: Provide a temperature measuring device in all hot or cold holding equipment used to store potentially hazardous foods so that employees can routinely monitor the ambient air temperature.
- Critical: Handwashing Lavatory*
Observation: There is no handwash lavatory in the kitchen, preventing routine handwashing by food workers.
Correction: Install an additional handwash lavatory in the kitchen to allow convenient use by food workers. Prior to installing additional plumbing fixtures the permit holder must apply and gain approval through the necessary regulatory agencies.
- Ventilation - Mechanical Ventilation (repeated violation)
Observation: Ventilation is not sufficient to keep rooms free of excessive obnoxious odors in the big kid and little kids restrooms
Correction: Provide mechanical ventilation that is sufficient enough to keep rooms free of excessive heat, steam, condensation, vapors, obnoxious odors, smoke and fumes
