The children bring their own lunches except for on Friday when meals are prepared in the kitchen. Post copy of the permit and certified food manager certificate near the kitchen. Defrost the reach in freezers. There was an area outside the back steps with standing water. Recommend no water, even clean unused water, be dumped on the ground. Repair work order has been submitted for the Hobart cooler. Kitchen is very clean and organized- good job. Health Permit renewal issued.

Observation: According to the ""consume by"" date on the commercially processed ready-to-eat (RTE) Amish and American potato salads and the creme cheese spread in the refrigerator, the food should have been discarded over a month ago.
Correction: Discard the food at this time and ensure all commercially processed RTE food is served, sold or discarded by the ""consume by"" date after opening. Some harmful bacteria continue to grow even at refrigeration temperatures so limiting the amount of time in storage limits the amount of growth allowed for these bacteria. Food products were voluntarily discarded during the inspection.

Correction: Provide outer opening screen with a mesh that 16 to 1 inch. Insects and rodents are vectors of disease-causing microorganisms which may be transmitted to humans by contamination of food and food-contact surfaces.
