Explained to staff that unit should not be used until is has been repaired. Kitchen used for rentals and they stated that the unit will be repaired before allowing customers to use it again.

Observation: Traulsen refrigerator cold holding at improper temperatures. Entire unit observed at 47°F, with external thermometer reading 41°F and internal thermometer reading 45°F. No TCS foods stored in unit. I explained to the community center staff that no food should be stored in unit until is has been repaired/restored back to proper function.
Correction: Cold hold potentially hazardous food at 41°F or below to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria.
- Equipment - Food Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces, and Utensils
Observation: The nonfood-contact surfaces of the following equipment were observed soiled with an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and/or other debris: interior of both microwaves and interior and front of cabinets under serving window.
Correction: Maintain nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment clean.

Observation: No disposable towels were provided a the hand washing lavatory in the kitchen.
Correction: Hand drying devices such as individual disposable paper towels, a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel or heated air hand drying device must be provided at all hand washing lavatories to encourage proper hand washing and avoid employees to drying their hands on their clothing or other unclean materials

Observation: Premises are not being routinely inspected for evidence of pests. Ants found in a drawer.
Correction: Inspect premises on routine basis for the evidence of pests. . Insects and other pests are capable of transmitting disease to man by contaminating food and food-contact surfaces.

Observation: Working containers of dish detergent are not properly labeled.
Correction: Working containers of toxic items are to be properly labeled with contents. Identification of these containers with the common name of the material helps prevent the dangerous misuse of the contents.

Observation: Scented bleach being applied to food contact surfaces does not meet the requirements of 21 CFR 178.1010. I informed associate at front desk to remove scented bleach from kitchen.
