Observation: A food service employee was working in the food service establishment without having a valid food service card.
Correction: A food service employee shall have a valid food service card prior to working in the food service establishment. The person in charge shall not employ anyone to work in the food service establishment until they posses a valid food service card. A food service employee shall have a valid food service card while working in a food establishment.
- Critical: Hands and Arms Cleaning Procedure*
Observation: Improper handwashing procedures observed. no hot water
Correction: Ensure all food employees clean their hands and exposed portions of their arms with a cleaning compound in a lavatory by vigorously rubbing together the surfaces of their lathered hands and warms for at least 20 seconds and thoroughly rinsing with clean water.

Observation: The employee drinking in an area other than designated break area.
Correction: All employee who are working must be in the designated break area away from food preparation/handling areas to prevent cross contamination.

Observation: Employees observed working in the food service area without proper hair restraints.
Correction: Ensure all employees wear hair restraints such as hats, hair coverings or nets, beard restraints, and clothing that covers body hair, that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food clean equipment, utensils, and linens, and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles.

Observation: There is not a sufficient hot water supply to this facility for proper sanitization within this food service establishment.
Correction: EHS is to confer with his/her supervisor for possible. (See section 12 VAC 5-421-3910) need hot water at hand sink

Observation: There has been replacement of the water heater. The current water heater (LIST Make, Model, KW/ BTU input, Recovery Rate 100°F Rise of the equipment) has been calculated and the peak hot water demand for the establishment cannot be met.
Correction: An upgrade of this water heater is required to provide a minimum (GPH) recovery rate at 100°F rise within 30 days.

Observation: Containers of &CHEMICAL& not stored separately from insecticides or rodenticides.
Correction: Store detergents, sanitizers, related cleaning or drying agents and caustics, acids, polishes and other chemicals separately from insecticides and rodenticides.
