Comments:
Visit made today due to possible/suspected salmonella illness in day care facility. No violations noted from environmental, all foods within proper temperature, with refrigeration units working properly and cold holding at proper temperatures. No raw product used in establishment. Handwashing observed with soap, hot water and hand drying available. Chlorine bleach used as sanitizer with sanitizer in third compartment being 100 ppm.

Violation: 3220 - Corrected During Inspection Mops not hung up to air dry. Wet use maintenance items such as mops must be hung in a position that allows them to air dry so they are not allowed to grow contamination which can then be spread through the establishment at the next use.

2190 - Water from the handwashing sinks at several locations were measured at a temperature less than 110F. Hot water not available at handbasins. Make necessary adjustments to valves and lines serving the handsink to provide water of at least 110F to allow more effective removal of fatty soils encountered in kitchens.
