Test kit must be obtained and the light bulbs to be installed immediately in the kitchen area. The operator shut down the walk-in refrigerator completely and was required to contact the health department prior to resuming its usage for cold holding foods. Permit issued.

This visit was an opening inspection for this facility. Low-boy refrigerator and the walk-in refrigerator was not functioninig properly during the inspection. The only refrigeration unit holding the correct temperature of 38F or below was the display refrigerator, and therefore the permit was not issued. The operator was advised to correct violations documented during inspection prior to permit issurance. Chlorine chemical test kit must be obtained.
