12/22/10 Responded to Georgetown Fire Department request to access damage cause by fire. Investigation revealed candle left on front window ledge caused small smoldering fire of wood window ledge. Per fire department called because of concern about smoke/soot damage to establishment. Smoke smell very minor. Soot very minor and largely confined to dining area. Told owner to completely remove/ wash/sanitize andy and all place settings in dining areas including upper seating area prior to opening.
Kitchen area - no damage. No food items compromised, power to refrigeration units was not interrupted, no loss or distruction of food necessary. Told owner to clean open tea urn, clean & sanitize any compromised plates, service items, etc.
Per Georgetown Fire Department, front entrance to be restricted to emergency exit until engineer contacted to address possible structural issues with corner bay window.
Investigation closed this date. Vl

2/23/11 F/U for line cooler. Turkey @ 52/ham@53. Bottom of cooler @39. 2nd request for temp. log to be faxed to office. Other violation noted: no towels at either handsink. Both items COS. These temperature served as the first check on the log.jw

02/28/11 F/U for food temperature log- reviewed requirements for log data,example provided,verified current cold holding temperatures for top line cooler: ham@39;turkey@39.
