Castoro Cellars

The Castoro Cellars Winery is located on 400-acres of land and is open for tours and tastings during the week from 10 am until 4 pm. The winemakers buy grapes from a variety of local vineyards, giving them a great deal of flexibility when making wines. In addition to the grapes they buy, they grown their own on the vineyard. The tasting room is located off the vineyard property and is open daily from 10 am until 5:30 pm. Visitors to the tasting room will be treated to views of the Zinfandel vineyard, the grape arbor, and several cork trees. This is the ideal location for enjoying a glass of wine or sampling a few varieties before choosing your favorite. Tasting wines include new releases and library wines, and guests can browse a variety of gifts, gourmet food items, and products designed by local artisans. Tastings are complimentary for up to three wines. For a fee, visitors can enjoy up to seven wines. The fee is waived is wine is purchased during the tasting. The winery hosts a number of concerts throughout the year and features a summer concert series. Other events include the Harvest Wine Tour, the Zinfandel Festival, and the Paso Robles Wine Festival. Castoro Cellars prides itself on its use of sustainable practices including solar panels, recycling, banning bottled water, and using sustainable agriculture.
