Infineon Raceway

Home of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup event, the Infineon Raceway has been dishing out high-speed racing action since 1968, when it was originally known as the Sears Point Raceway. This is where Dale Earnhardt won his very first and only road-course race in 1995. It is also a host site for NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing and the IZOD IndyCar Series.

A unique aspect of the 1,600-acre racing facility is its challenging track, with more than 160 feet of elevation change from its highest to lowest points. Unlike most raceways which feature oval layouts, Infineon has a dozen turns on its road course. That means the winner of the NASCAR race must make 1,100 turns in total and do it faster than everyone else on the circuit.

Infineon Raceway is located in Sonoma Wine Country about 30 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. The address is 29355 Arnold Drive, Sonoma, California 95476. Events are scheduled here 340 days a year; the track's calendar should be consulted for specific details. Track rental is possible for private events and trials/testing. Four separate driving schools also offer opportunities for visitors to get behind the wheel and take supervised laps.
