This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Trouble?

Posted 01-31-2013 at 09:38 AM by woodworkingmenace (History)

I went to execise yesterday and had to cut it short...

First off, too many people on the machines and I couldnt 'get' to the machines that I wanted, so had to settle for those that were still available, and I dont go backwards, to those I miss, always forward and out.

But, those machines that I do hit, I make sure that I put in extra effort and more reps for those that I miss. 50 here, 100 there etc...

So, I come to the stationary bikes and wouldnt ya just...

I Did It!!

Posted 01-23-2013 at 02:37 PM by woodworkingmenace (History)

I finally did it, I walked a Mile at the YMCA today...
Yea, its a small victory to anyone else, but, to me its a HUGE VICTORY!
I havent been able to do this for over three years now, since I have become disabled. Sure, I will be sore for the next few days from it, because I could feel the pain and pressure from my spine, even through the vicodin that I consume. (I didnt even take the fourth pill, like a dummy, so I had to endure the pain, but, it was well worth it LOL).

Getting Ready

Posted 01-23-2013 at 05:40 AM by woodworkingmenace (History)

The other night, my Wife told me that I should start getting the basement into shape so that I can 'find things' down there...(Her version of telling me that its time to start moving and getting motivated again!).

So, last night, I went downstairs and emptied one tub of 'stuff'... (nails, screws and stuff I had on the shelves before the 'remodel' came about and everything went off of peg boards and into plastic tubs).

I did note, that when the peg board was taken down...

Another Day

Posted 01-21-2013 at 05:48 AM by woodworkingmenace (History)

Another day going to the YMCA

I think I have found my mission in life...

My goal in life is to inspire people..
They see me at the YMCA, walking with two canes and not giving up, and they think, "If he can do it, I can do it".

I try to inspire people to be and do better than they thought they could, to try harder.

My personal goal is to walk a mile around the track after my exercise session.
So far, I made it around...

Make a Difference in Someones Life...Today

Posted 01-20-2013 at 12:08 PM by woodworkingmenace (History)

Everyone have a Great Day and go out and make a difference in some ones life today.
Give them a smile, or a hug, and tell them that they mean the World to you, and you couldnt live in this World with out them.
See a stranger and compliment them on something that they are doing or wearing or just make them feel better for the day.
I wish you well...
