My Son's room is almost done.
Brother in law is going to finish up the mudding and taping of the drywall we all hung...(he wasnt doing it 'fast enough' for my Wife, so she insisted that my Son and I do our part LOL... I told her, "Im paying 'him' to do it!! Didnt cut no ice, she wants it done NOW!!).

Daughter has a new boyfriend again, (this one is an out of towner too, so I dont expect it to last long). I keep telling her to get a 'local boy', so that he wont have travel...

My Wife and I celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary last week!

We went to Eat n Park, since the Steak House right next door, the line was down around the building, sheesh. The meal was the worst we both have ever had at any resturant... What a shame. Still left a good tip for the guy who waited on us, because the service was the best thing that night LOL...

We went to the Dari Owl after that, for ice cream. (Yea, still had room for it, since the meal sucked)....

We poured the cement yesterday, and it was quite an experience.

The day before, I didnt have enough people coming, incase the cement truck couldnt get the tube into the window, to pour into my Son's Room. (doing the entire dirt floor, then putting the frame and floor back in later).

So, I called my Brother's Kids to see if they would come and help. (I had already told my Dad that I would pay them, and they happened to mention it when my Son was walking them them in the...

My Daughter paid me the highest compliment, on my FaceBook page, by saying that she remembers dancing on my toes in the living room, when she was a small tyke

My Son's room is doing very nicely. My Brother in Law is taking up the floor, and soon we will be laying down a layer of concrete.
(Termites are infested in the floor, and maybe the walls, so the floor comes up first, and gets replaced with treated lumber, then, I will have my Brother in Law take down those wonderful walls I handmade, and replace them all with drywall-->this is going to be the hard part, parting with those walls, that took me days to lapjoint around and all that, and cut...
