The walls and ceilings shall be in good repair and easily cleaned. PROVIDE CEILING TILES WHERE MISSING IN THE AREA ABOVE THE TAYLOR SOFT SERVE MACHINES. REGLUE THE VINYL BASEBOARD IN THE REAR STORAGE ROOM NEXT TO THE WALK-IN COOLER.
All food establishments that display, prepare, or store potentially hazardous foods shall have calibrated metal stem thermometers, provided and conspicuous, for refrigerated and hot food units. PROVIDE THERMOMETERS FOR BOTH THE CHEST FREEZER AND THE TOPPING COOLER.
Ventilation: All plumbing fixtures, such as toilets, sinks, washbasins, etc., must be adequately trapped, vented, and re-vented and properly connected to the sewer in accordance with the plumbing chapter of the Municipal Code of Chicago and the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Health. REPAIR THE DRAIN LINE WATER LEAK BELOW THE MIDDLE COMPARTMENT OF THE 3 COMPARTMENT SINK.
All food establishments that display, prepare, or store potentially hazardous food shall have adequate refrigerated food storage facilities. CHEST FREEZER AND TOPPING COOLER WERE NOT TURNED ON AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION. MUST TURN ON ALL COOLERS AND FREEZERS AND MAINTAIN COOLERS BELOW 40F AND FREEZERS BELOW 0F.
All food and non-food contact equipment and utensils shall be smooth, easily cleanable, and durable, and shall be in good repair. MUST INSTALL A KNIFE RACK IN THE PREP AREA.
The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair. FLOOR TILES IN THE REAR STORAGE ROOM MUST BE SMOOTH AND EASILY CLEANABLE.
