    Surfaces of all walls, floors, ceilings, doors and windows shall be smooth, easily cleanable and free of cracks, splinters, sharp points or corners, splinters, protruding nails and loose paint which could contain lead or other poisonous materials. All equipment, materials and furnishings shall be sturdy and safely constructed, easy to clean, free of splinters, protruding nails, loose rusty parts and paint which contain lead or other poisonous materials. All floors shall be free of cracks, sliding rugs, telephone jacks and electrical outlets. All carpets shall be kept in good repair and carpeted areas shall be vacuumed and shampooed as often as needed to keep them clean.

    Daily maid service will be offered to all occupied or rented rooms. Each room will be outfitted with clean sheets and pillow cases bath linens before being occupied by new guests.     City of Fort Worth Code Compliance Consumer Health Division 818 Missouri Ave 817-392-7255 A joint Code inspection with Consumer Health (CH) and Building Standards Division (BSD) of the Astro Inn, 3518 S. IH-35 was conducted on October 20, 2009. **All rooms posted with closure notices (large yellow placards) are to remain unoccupied until they are released by Consumer Health. A fee of $125 is required for the re-inspection and will need to be paid before the inspection. **Any room that is to be re-opened by Consumer Health will need to be up to State Minimum Standards and all the violations listed below will need to be corrected. **Please call 817-392-7255 to pay the re-inspection fee and to schedule a re-inspection once these violations are corrected.
