Help! What's going on!? Am I having a blond moment?
In the thread "What Makes a Happy Marriage?" I can see that Loveboating has posted a reply to my post. But, when I click on it, all I see is my old reply. No, I am not just forgetting to click on the right page number by not realizing that there is another page... I am pretty internet savvy! So, that's not it. But, it is weird that the thread says "6 pages" but when you click on it, there are only 4.
Then, I tried clicking on Loveboating's profile and hitting "see all posts by Loveboating" and I could see the beginning of the question... about my engagement ring... but when I click it, it brings me back to that page and again... all I see is my old reply!
Then, I tried replying to it to see if that would work. That was even weirder... I saw my new reply right next to my old reply, as if Loveboating's reply never existed! Then, I reclicked on the thread from the "Other Topics" starting point and my new reply had disappeared, too!
I replied to you in the original thread. Nothing wrong with Loveboating's posts that I can tell. None of the mods deleted or edited anything by them on this thread. I have no idea why you can't see it
Well, now I can see ILNC's post and your post, but it still skips over my two posts last night as well as Loveboating's.
Here is a screen shot of the end of page 4 as I see it (look at the page numbers):

As you can see, it goes directly from page 4 to page 5, and it goes from my reply about my wedding to ILNC's reply to my wedding ring.
Maybe this is something wrong with my computer? At any rate, I at least want to make you aware of it in case you run into this problem again. The way it usually is with me- it's probably something really stupid and airheaded that I'm doing wrong LOL.
Oh well. At least I can see today's posts. So, I'll just carry on and hope it doesn't happen again. Thanks!
OK... its happening to me on another thread, too. The "Differences Between Men & Women" thread is acting funny. I see it has 2 pages now, and the last post was by cleosmom (here is a screenshot):
But when I click on it, it is only again showing me page 1. In fact, it doesn't even list that there are any other pages in the thread. It says my "just be honest" post is the last post on there and there are no other pages after that:
If I keep experiencing these problems I may have to leave the site as I am concerned about my computer... although I have a Mac and there really arent many viruses out there for Macs. But still, I am concerned.
It's almost as if posts that were made during a certain time period are being lost in the Bermuda Triangle, or the same monster that steals my socks from the laundry is also stealing posts from my favorite threads. Because now I see MoMark's response in "Men & Women" and I replied to him, but still nothing in between. It goes from my "be honest" post to MoMark's "where is my underwear post?" post to my "i'm having problems,. too" post. But I think there may be other people's posts in between those that aren't showing up.

I'd be embarrassed to have my underwear discussed by anyone but you Mariatherese... ! But yes, everything you've described I'm experiencing as well. Usually when posts of mine have been deleted by Yac (as in my back and forth with MagpiesMagpiesMagpies), it shows my name (MoMark) just by itself where the posting used to be and it's then clear to me that it was removed. Right now postings are invisible to some, visible to others, and we've entered the twilight zone!
Uhm... I'm not sure if Mark's underwear is still on topic here?
I've been haiving some problems myself today. Let's hope it'll pass the moment we have the new server online.
Ah-ha! I fixed this problem by changing my options. Specifically, how many posts it allows to show on a page. Now they have magically reappeared!
