Default Can anyone tell me about buying a home in tuskegee area? I live in Lake Charles, LA.

I plan on moving to the Tuskegee area while I apply for Tuskegee veterinary school. My fiance and I will probably move in late spring/early summer of 2007. We were going to travel there this December while I'm between semesters. We were wanting between 2 and 5 acres with a nice 3+ bedroom house with 2 baths, preferably with a fireplace. Is there another place to look besides Tuskegeerealty.com that doesn't cost anything? I don't know anything about Real estate in Tuskegee nor the surrounding areas.

Try www.alamls.com

Statewide MLS listing. There is not a lot in Tuskeegee. Try looking in Tallassee, AL.

There is not much in the Tuskeegee area but land shouldn't be hard to find. My nephew attended Tuskeegee but lived in the Auburn area. You also have Opelika and they both are only a short commute away. Columbus, GA is not that far away either. Blessings to you.

Tuskegee is a bedroom community. Many people commute to get better public schools and amenities such as shopping and medical services.

Best of luck to y'all.
