I had a pretty epic trip down to Anchorage last weekend. +10,000 feet and lots of miles of hiking. It's that time of year again. Here's some shots:

Hatcher Pass Lodge

Eklutna Lake and Bold Peak

One of the Twin Peaks

Palmer and the Matanuska Valley

The backside of Pioneer Peak

Mt. Marcus Baker (highest peak in the Chugach)

Eklutna Lake again

Me trying to look like a badass

McHugh Peak and the Suicides

McHugh Ridge and South Anchorage

McHugh Ridge and Mt. Spurr. Actually I think those are the Neacoloa Mountains in left-center (or maybe the Chigamits or Tordrillos?) That stuff all just melds with the Aleautian and Alaska Ranges anyway. It was a really clear day.

Now, off to Denali

Great shots! You definitely get around! I can see my house in your second to last shot from McHugh.
