Speaking as a female not from there: from the looks of it (reading on the forum) perhaps...yes.

Anyone else?
JavaPhil?
Rance?

Maybe not so bad in Anchorage or some of the other bigger towns...but in my area...it's bad. Real bad.

It's too cold up there and if you can't find a hot girl to keep you warm at night, it must be even worse

Propertyhogs, we don't find the cold all that limiting. The Aleutians rarely get below the 20's, SE (Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, et al) has more of a problem with rain year-long, vice temps. I live in what is termed the "banana belt" in Anchorage. The Kenai, Kodiak Island, the Katmai, and most of the southern coast have milder winters than, say, Minnesota or the UP (Michigan). The (fool)hardy souls in the Interior are the ones we admire for putting up with minus 20 to minus 60 temps in winter and sweltering in the 90's and 100 degree range in mid-summer. But yes, the hot girl would be nice, except the old lady would castrate me for even considering the prospect (She pinches me for drooling over some hottie on the tube).
