I'm going to be looking for some trees to plant on my land, probably this summer. It's near Manley Hot Springs, so anything from there to the Fairbanks area or close anyways would be best (don't want to go south near the Anchorage area). I'm after apples, crabapples and possibly some ussurian pears and chokecherries. Some place with a good selection (relative I know as there aren't a lot of varieties that'll grow in the Interior) and a good reputation (the apples/crabapples need to have good hardy rootstalk, for example, need someplace I can trust on the quality of the trees). Anyone have suggestions?
